SAFETY CHECK — £30
Our Safety Check ensures your bike is safe and roadworthy. It includes:
Inspecting the frame and fork for any damage.
Checking tyres and wheels for wear and tear.
Inflating tyres to the correct pressure.
Inspecting bike components for damage and correct positioning.
Checking all bolts for tightness and correct torque.
Follow‑up recommendations and advice.
Notes:
Recommended after a crash/accident or as a 6–8‑week check‑up on a new bike.
Parts are not replaced during a Safety Check.
Components may need to be moved or adjusted to verify proper function. If a part requires adjustment or fixing beyond the scope of the Safety Check, an additional charge may apply.
STANDARD SERVICE (Tune‑up Service) — £60
Includes everything in the Safety Check plus:
Inspect tyres, tubes and wheels; replace if required.
Inspect brake cables and pads; replace if required.
Inspect gear cables and drivetrain; lubricate as needed.
Adjust and index brakes and gears.
Lubricate seatpost; adjust saddle and handlebar.
Tighten nuts and bolts to correct torque.
Notes:
Hub service, bottom bracket replacement, headset replacement, or brake bleeding are charged as extras.
Parts are not included in the service price; we provide options to suit your needs.
GENERAL SERVICE — from £120
Includes everything in the Standard Service plus:
Frameset wiped down and checked for alignment.
Minor wheel true and spoke replacement if required.
Brake adjustments; replace cables, pads or brakes if required.
Gear adjustments; replace cables or derailleurs if damaged.
Inspect chain, cassette and crankset; replace if required.
Degrease and clean drivetrain components if not worn.
Re‑fit and lubricate components.
Inspect and adjust headset.
Inspect bottom bracket for stiffness, creaking or grinding.
Notes:
Hub service, bottom bracket replacement, headset replacement, or brake bleeding are charged as extras.
Parts are not included in the service price; we provide options to suit your needs.
PREMIUM SERVICE — from £160
Includes everything in the General Service plus:
Full strip‑down of all components.
Thorough inspection and deep clean in our eco‑friendly washer.
Replacement of all damaged or worn components.
Hub service (cup‑and‑cone / entry‑level wheels): bearings replaced and lubricated.
Bottom bracket inspected, cleaned, greased and refitted; replaced if worn.
Headset removed, inspected, cleaned, greased and refitted; replaced if worn.
Notes:Parts are not included in the service price; we provide options to suit your needs.
PLEASE NOTE
Hub service on high‑end wheels or wheels requiring special tools, and hub‑gear systems, is an extra cost.
Hydraulic brake bleeding or fitting is an extra cost.
Internal cable routing is an extra cost.
Headset fitting on high‑end frames with integrated cable routing systems is an extra cost.
E‑Bike Standard Service / General Service — £80 / £150
With the growing popularity of electric bikes, servicing e‑bikes has become a major part of our workshop. We are equipped to service and repair most major e‑bike motors, diagnostic systems and software.
We have experience with Electric Hub Motors and Bafang Mid‑Drive Motors.
